Glad you found me! This is a place to reminisce about childhood, and share old and new recipes that bring back memories of home and growing up.
Don’t Look Here
Now, now…I told you not to look, curious person.
Actually, the title means that if you are looking for:
- Seafood recipes
- Dishes like, oh, seared tuna with celery root slaw
- Lighter fare (you’ll notice there is no “salad” category)
- Vegan recipes
…you won’t find them here. The above — while delicious — does not fit my definition of comfort food, so I left it by the wayside. TCF recipes also call for canned goods and processed foods; it’s just the nature of the thing. That’s OK with me, and I hope, at least on occasion, it’s all right with you as well.
Still, send those recipes in. I’d be honored to “interview” you and get some quotes to use if I cook and publish your submission.
